Day 17 - Saigon - Siem Reap
This was a day with a chance to sleep late, wander the streets on our own and only one tour, the presidential home/office building. We then flew to Siem Reap, Cambodia for the last part of the trip.

We also stopped at a supermarket to pick up a few products like coffee and candy

Then the trip to the presidential office building, now called the reunification palace. It replaced the prior building which was built by the French but destroyed by bombs in the 60's. The new building was commisioned by President Diem but he did not live to see the building completed. It was occupied by three other presidents before being captured at the end of the "American War"
